yes, The scriptures in 'The Book of Mormon' Ether 12:27 comes to mind right away, as well as Mosiah 4:27. In 'The God who Weeps,'the authors make the point, "We are drawn to the suffering Christ, not the victorious Christ.. . . .God wins power by His weakness." I do not know where to begin on how profound this truth is to me in my personal weakness.Hope is real, it is found in truth and living as best I can to align myself with it and only relying on my Savior Jesus Christ to make me strong through obediece to His gospel.
